No matter how different the designs are, those Bluetooth headsets that clip to the ear, really do not look that good, they are especially off-putting when trying to have a conversation with somebody who has one attached to their ear, it make them look like some kind cyborg awaiting instructions to “Kill all humans” though I understand that they do serve a valid purpose, it is just a personal view even though I should not have one.

Well there is great alternative from Plantronics, this device uses the same type of technology and the size is similar too, however the difference is the fact that it is used like an MP3 player, in fact it is an MP3 player with Bluetooth connectivity or is the other way around, whatever! The device is not worn on the ear, but around the neck like a MP3 player and has earphones, which can be used for listen to music in the conventional way. But because it is a Bluetooth device it can be used in conjunction with a Bluetooth enabled phone and should the a call come while music is being listened to, the device will simply automatically pause the music in order for the call to be answered by pressing the button on the cord, there is no need to even touch the device itself.

The great thing about this device is the fact that it is easily concealable, serves a duel purpose of phone and MP3 player and of course can be used while driving as it is much safer than having to stretch across the car to answer a call on hands free, as a driver would only need to touch the button located on the cord which requires less movement that changing than reaching down to the gear lever.
