The mouse pointer, or pointer that is a mouse

When we had PC’s, more or less everyone had a wired mouse, it was the state of art for the time, yet now with laptops we still have the need for a mouse but have no dedicated mouse port, so we either have to use up a USB port or go for a wireless version, which still uses up a USB port, whoever said that working on a laptop while sitting on a train would be easy?Whtbottomangled

To make things more enjoyable Art Lebedev Studio a Russian based design house has come up with what can only be described as probably the most enjoyable mouse around, they have thrown away all the current thinking that surrounds a computer mouse, the flat pebble look has been transformed into a facsimile of a windows pointer, the white arrow head design which is displayed in front of most computer uses every time the compute is used.

At first the shape looks as if it would be uncomfortable and not that easy to use, but according to the distributors, The Mustard Concept based in the UK, the shape actually fit’s the hand as well as a normal mouse would and the controls make the control very easy to use too. There is a battery indicator light on the side, which will only become illuminated when the batteries (2xAAA size) need changing or charging what the choice as both can be used in this mouse. The mouse is constructed from a heavy duty plastic type material, which some people have described as “feeling like suede” obviously this cannot be true, so I would think that the surface would feel like a heavily embossed plastic cover, which enables the user to grip firmly without the fear of the mouse   slipping through the fingers and shooting across the floor.

The main features of the MUS II mouse are;Mouseclick_2

Compatible with Windows and Mac OS X.

    Receiver USB connection.

    Operating range: 2 meters.

Frame speed: up to 2300 fps.

    Optical sensor resolution: 800 dpi.

Power: two AAA rechargeable or non-rechargeable batteries.

Switches to power saving mode if not moved.

The MUS II will be available soon according to the distributors in the UK, but at the moment there does not appear to be a US distributor on the Art Lebedev Studio Website, so hopefully they will be selling this in the States, either direct or online, and unfortunately the price has yet to be announced.
