I was very pleased with the content of the last Musical Monday video, the video for Weezer’s Pork and Beans.  I’m not the only one, because in a short time the video has become (ironically) one of the most popular viral videos on the web!  I had some curiousity about the process of making the video, and to my surprise, I got a response to my question that I’d be remiss if I didn’t pass along to you guys.

Special thanks to Caroline and Emily from Motion Theory for the heads up.  There’s going to be more information released shortly, so whenever that gets to me, I’ll pass it along to you.  This is really one of the best videos of the year already; if anything captures this much attention on the Internet this year I’ll be really surprised.

I checked out some of Mathew Cullen’s videos on YouTube.  There’s no question about just how good this guy is, and how good the results the Motion Theory style of video creation can get.  He’s also done the videos for Adele’s Chasing Pavements, Modest Mouse’s Dashboard, and the video below, for Beck’s Girl.

It was tough to pick out even that video, as all three of them are insanely good.  Check them all out!
