Is there any company that’s going to have a bigger year next year than Blizzard? I don’t possibly see how anyone can match that company for sheer upcoming media exposure. Last year was the announcement of Starcraft II. Then it was the World of warcraft expansion Wrath of the Lich King. Now, it’s Diablo III.

I can only imagine how much money Blizzard is going to make over the next two years. Starcraft is one of the biggest games in history. Diablo II was the best selling computer game of all time. World of Warcraft is the most-played MMORPG in history by far, with 10 million paying customers. And here Blizzard/Activision have three new properties coming out to cash in on their loyal fan base. Suffice it to say, whatever Activision paid to acquire Blizzard was a bargain. Blizz, through its history of GREAT games, is one of the most marketable properties in computer entertainment, and they’re about to hit the jackpot.
