One of the things I love most about people is the fact that sometimes we do things not because they’re particularly useful, but just because… well, we can. It’s as simple as that. Why else would someone go to all the trouble to construct a gigantic fabric keyboard?
I haven’t really admitted this to anyone, but in an effort not to drop dead like most bloggers do from our very stressful jobs, I’ve started both trying to eat right and exercise more often. I’ve dropped a good 15lbs in the past month, thanks to eating a little more greenery and a little less delicious food I love, and working out a little bit. Nothing fancy, just the exercise bike.
One of the things I’ve lamented about is the fact that while I’m working out, I can’t be productive in other ways, like writing or blogging or playing computer games. Of course, as my fitness advisor told me, working out isn’t supposed to be about multitasking, it’s supposed to be about relieving stress and freeing your mind and concentrating on improving you, not on your next blog post or magazine article. It’s hard to shut off that little voice in the back of my head that tells me I’m wasting time riding the bike and reading books, but after some butter-melting cardio, it’s pretty quiet. :)
Just imagine how fit I could get if I could incorporate my blogging and writing with my exercise!

Well, if you could figure out a way to attach your laptop to your bike, it's possible.

It's got those handlebars that move back and forth to get the upper body moving, too. But don't think I haven't been TRYING!
