With every new gadget comes a new learning curve. As things get fancier and smaller, it gets harder and harder to deal with all the bells and whistles in new electronics. Take, for example, my new cellphone, the Samsung Flipshot. I know how to set the alarm and how to turn it to silent mode. I can take pictures with it and do a few minor things. Other than that? I’m clueless and constantly need hand-holding and support from the folks at Verizon.

Thank goodness the unboxing of my new phone didn’t go like this, otherwise I would’ve probably wet myself in horror and ran out of the store! Also, there’s a nice subtle jab at both cell phone companies pushing more and more fancy features versus a public that is increasingly more and more jaded by technologies that, only 5 years ago, would’ve blown our minds.
