I love the Wii. I don’t care about the lack of HD realistic graphics, or the lack of real downloadable content. I’m happy with my Virtual Console games and my waggle controller. However, there’s one thing about the Wii I would change.
You know the wire between your Wiimote and nunchuck? Doesn’t that, at least slightly, defeat the whole purpose of having a wireless controller? Of course, there’s no long wire between your Wiimote and your Wii, which is nice, but you’ve still got the shorter wire between the Wiimote and nunchuck getting tangled up, knocking things over, and worst of all, inhibiting your waggling ability. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve accidentally jerked the nunchuck out of my hand in a frenzied bout of Wiimote wiggling.
If I was designing the Wii, I would’ve made the nunchuck wireless to begin with, but Nyko has addressed this design complaint with their line of wireless nunchucks. Best of all, it’s on sale right now at Amazon and Gamestop for the low price of $10. If you’re as accident-prone as I am, it’s definitely a sale to consider jumping on when payday rolls around.
