Klingon Keyboards And Star Trek 2: The Wrath of Khan

    Khan
As a sci-fi fan, I've had to suffer through a ton of bad news today that kind of has me down in the dumps.  Two of my favorite figures of science fiction, Ricardo Montalban (best known as Khan Noonien Singh from Star Trek)  and Patrick McGoohan (best known as Number Six from The Prisoner) passed away on the same day.

There are going to be a lot of tributes from geeks around the world, and I guarantee you at least one of them will be written by someone who can speak Klingon.  My best friend from high school, Joey, could speak French, Spanish, Latin, and eventually (since he was the biggest Trek fan I've ever met) taught himself Klingon.   Yeah, the fake language invented for the TV show?  He had a dictionary and practiced at it.  I'm not sure if I should be impressed or frightened at the way he took to picking up random Klingon phrases for everyday use.

He was the first person I thought about today when both Khan died and when I saw this Klingon language keyboard.  If you know any crazy superfans, you can pick one of those babies right over here.  I don't think it really types in Klingon, but it would be awesome if it did.  Then it would truly be an appropriate tribute.
