I’ve been playing around with the new Google Instant search, and I can kind of take it or leave it.  It’s not terrible, but it hasn’t changed how I do anything yet, aside from distracting me a little while I’m trying to type my real search in.  As such, I’ve decided I’ll probably turn it off and continue using normal search, but if you don’t really know what Google Instant is about, let Bob Dylan explain it to you via song and images.

Could this be Google’s latest commercial for Instant?  Boy, I sure hope so, because it’s awesome.  Then again, any excuse to get Bob Dylan’s music on TV is a good one, and I can’t think of a better song/video combination to demonstrate Instant with.  Think about it:  Bob uses flash cards and sings the rest of the lyrics based off the key words, and that’s exactly how Google Instant works.  You type a couple of things and boom, there’s search results.
